..."popsicles on the porch"...what a great afternoon treat and our favorite way to spend time together! These are simple and precious moments! Princess #1 and Princess #2 along with Little Man #1 and #2 are my inspiration for most of these writings.

Can I get a translator please??

A sweet little boy surprised his grandmother one morning and brought her a cup of coffee. He made it himself and was so proud. He anxiously waited to hear the verdict on the quality of the coffee, and as she forced down the last sip she noticed three of those little green arm guys in the bottom of the cup.
She asked, "Honey, why would three little green army guys be in the bottom of my cup?" Her grandson replied, "You know grandma it's like on TV, The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup'"

This story reminded me of all the funny ramblings of our 3yr old that I have been meaning to record. Our 18month old is picking up on them too! Little girl is officially in that "parrot" stage. It feels like she's picking up a new word every day! Only problem is...she's learning some of our big girl's "fangled" words.

At times, we've actually caught ourselves using their words instead of correcting them with the actual word. I know, I know, I should be teaching them the proper vocabulary but hey, it's just not as much fun! I know these moments will be short lived, so for now I am treasuring them while I can.

So, here are a few new "fangled" words you would need to learn if you lived in our home.

Pacifier: abidaah (don't ask??)

Chucky Cheese: Lucky Cheese

Lollipop: Leeee-pop

Napkin: Lapkin

I'll be right back: I'm gonna reback

I want a hamburger: I wanna hangaber

Refrigerator: Ridge o Rator

Your impossible: Your impostible

Happy Birthday: Happy Dirt Day

Grandpa: Prampa

Grandma: Bamaw

Yellow: Lellow

Butterflies: Otherflies

Porcupine: Porpikine

Cocoa Puffs - Coconuts

Macaroni - Rack-O-Roni

For those that have kids or or nieces and nephews...do you have any funny words? If so, feel free to share in the comment section!

Mel, I love that you posted "Isaisms." It makes me laugh to read these. Tell that little girl I love her so much!
