How Many Ways Can You Use Vinegar??

I had a pretty informative conversation the other day with a group of ladies on the many uses of vinegar! I picked up a few new tips on how to use vinegar as a cleaning agent, for home remedies, etc...!

I couldn't wait to put some of these tips into practice so on my cleaning day I used vinegar to clean the sinks, base boards, windows, etc...It did the job no doubt about it, but when my husband got home and walked into the kitchen and made a sour face, I knew that I must have gone a bit overboard! I looked at him with a little smirk on my face and couldn't help but laugh as I told him, "hey, it does the job!

So, I'm on a quest to learn more about the different uses for vinegar and would love to hear any helpful tips you might have! Let's see how many we can come up with!

Here's how to play:

1. Write a post at your site with your tip. In your post be sure to provide a link back here to my post.

2. Enter your name below in the "Mr. Linky" box at the bottom of this post.

3. Be sure to include a 3-4 word description of your post, in parentheses after you put your name. For example, where the box below says "Your Name", you might put:

Summer (Vinegar & Hardwood Floors) OR Mel (Vinegar & Sinks)

Vinegar works great to clean out the oven. I have used it on several occasions when in a pinch. The downside is that it can smell very strong both while cleaning and afterward for several days.

I am writing a post to my blog with my tip and will provide a link back to popsiclesonporch.

I would like to introduce myself. I am a new WAHM and am excited to begin networking with moms and grandmothers who are juggling the many roles they have in life just as I am. I had a 15 year career as an accountant for a publicly traded company and I missed out on so many of the precious moments in the lives of my boys. In August of ’07 I finally took the step of faith and left my full-time employment so that I could have the time, energy, and flexibility to focus on the needs of my tween (age 12) and 1st grader (age 6).
I have built a website which focuses on the essentials of family living, hence the name ~ www.essentialfamilyliving.com. One of my favorite topics of discussion is Family Fun Night and I have dedicated much of my blog space to this subject.
I would love for you to view my site and blog then comment with any suggestions, advice, or encouragement. Thank you for the consideration.

Blessing on your day!
